6 Days Tanzania Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Depart Arusha after breakfast and head to Tarangire National Park, home to massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees.

Enjoy a full-day game drive with picnic lunch before continuing to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and lush groundwater forest.

Afternoon transfer to the Ngorongoro Highlands for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park

Journey through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area en route to the legendary Serengeti National Park, with game viewing along the way.

Afternoon game drives across endless plains before dinner and overnight at your Serengeti lodge or camp.

Day 4: Full Day Serengeti Game Drives

Enjoy a full day of game drives in the Serengeti, offering excellent chances to spot lions, cheetahs, leopards, and large migrating herds.

Optional sunrise hot air balloon safari available (extra cost).

Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater Rim

Morning game drive in the Serengeti followed by lunch, then travel to the Ngorongoro Crater area.

Dinner and overnight at a lodge near the crater rim.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Arusha

Descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site offers some of the highest wildlife densities in Africa.

After lunch, return to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon where your safari adventure concludes.
