 Verified The most professional guide on Kilimanjaro! I climbed Kili with my friend, and we were lucky enough to have Arden as our lead guide. We have been fortunate to climb several big mountains around the world, and I can say that Arden may be the most professional mountain guide I have ever had! Most importantly, safety is his #1 priority at all times. Constant checks for oxygen saturation and resting HR at altitude, and a keen eye for all of the symptoms of altitude sicknesses and wilderness first response. Arden is extremely knowledgeable about the diverse ecosystem on Kilimanjaro as well as that of Tanzania as a whole, and he shared his deep knowledge of the mountain with us constantly. He's also an outstanding motivator, which is so important on an expedition like Kili. His positive, energetic spirit coupled with his awesome sense of humor was exactly what we needed especially in the high camps! We ended up reaching the summit via the Lemosho route with Arden and Edwin by our side. I consider Arden a great friend, and thanks to these guys, I will cherish my memories of this beautiful mountain for the rest of my life. Nonstop, to the top!

 Verified Incredible once in a lifetime experience My friend and I had the best experience summiting Kilimanjaro, thanks to our incredible guide!! Arden assisted us in every step of the way, advising us regarding clothes and reminding us to go pole pole (slowly, slowly) as we made our way to Uhuru Peak. Our conversations with Arden where we shared life stories and laughs were a highlight of our trip. I can't recommend this trip enough! Thank you, Arden, for sharing this amazing experience with us, taking us all the way to the Uhuru Peak and for the friendship built on the mountain.
