7 Days Tanzania Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Depart Arusha after breakfast and drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for massive elephant herds and iconic baobab trees.

Enjoy a full-day game drive with picnic lunch before heading to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, explore Lake Manyara National Park, famous for tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and lush groundwater forest.

In the afternoon, continue to the Ngorongoro Highlands for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park

Journey through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area en route to the legendary Serengeti National Park, enjoying wildlife sightings along the way.

Afternoon game drives across the endless plains before dinner and overnight at your Serengeti lodge or camp.

Day 4: Full Day Serengeti Game Drives

Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti, increasing your chances to see predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards.

Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Morning game drive followed by lunch, then travel toward the Ngorongoro area with scenic stops along the way.

Dinner and overnight near the crater rim.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive

Descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater for an extended game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site hosts one of Africa’s densest wildlife populations.

Picnic lunch on the crater floor, followed by ascent and overnight in the area.

Day 7: Cultural Visit – Return to Arusha

After breakfast, enjoy a cultural visit to a local Maasai village (optional), learning about traditional customs and daily life.

Later, return to Arusha, arriving in the afternoon where your safari adventure concludes.
